Neon Indian For Green Label Sound
Newly anointed Brooklynites by way of Austin Texas, Neon Indian, are Green Label Sound's next artist (via Pichfork). I am surprised this Mountain Dew funded record label/singles club is still around. But great! In case you missed it, here is Neon Indian doing some acoustic action for Fader TV:

Vampire Weekend Is Gay
And by that, I mean that keyboardist Rostam Batmanglij is gay and talked about it recently with OUT magazine.

Brooklyn Vegan has the scoop.
Mos Def is Doom's biggest fan. Next to the guy (maybe) pretending to be him at live shows.

Miami's "Song For Haiti"
A bunch of great Miami musicians got together to record a single for Haiti. One of those musicians was Brian Robertson of ANR.
(At the 1:10 mark you will see Brian going totally nutty on the keys):

Found this gem. When MTV used to cover music, they were kind enough to choose Ten Thousand Islands artist Awesome New Republic as a BUZZWORTHY pick.
